Teaching

I am passionate about sharing the mathematical experience! In the classroom, one-on-one, and any other way that I can, I love to share math and build understanding and awareness of its beauty and usefulness.

One of the best parts of each summer while working at Fred Hutch has been volunteering as a project mentor for this combined science and coding bootcamp!

I have had the privilege to be a part of WashU's initiative to support socioeconomic diversity by providing Calculus support to our minority and under-represented student population. One of my favorite parts of being at Washington University in St. Louis has been working with this community of incredible students, building weekend calculus courses and holding weekly office hours.

I have been a TA for Calculus II, III, Differential Equations, and several Mathematics Topics courses while at WashU, as well as holding weekly office hours in the Calculus Help Room.

Tarleton helps to address the lack of high school math preparation in Texas' rural areas by providing remedial mathematics courses to help students reach college-level math within their first 2 years of college. I loved building lesson plans and structuring homeworks, tests, and supplementary texts during my 2 years at Tarleton teaching pre-college algebra.
